Better Jejunal Feeding with Gastric Decompression

The MIC-KEY* Gastric-Jejunal (GJ) Feeding Tube provides for simultaneous gastric decompression drainage and delivery of enteral nutrition into the distal duodenum or proximal jejunum. It is indicated for use in patients who cannot absorb adequate nutrition through the stomach, who have intestinal motility problems, gastric outlet obstruction, severe gastroesophageal reflux, are at risk of aspiration, or in those who have had previous esophagectomy or gastrectomy. The MIC-KEY* GJ Feeding Tube sits at skin level and comes in a variety of sizes and lengths to help ensure an accurate fit – 14, 16, 18 and 22 Fr outer diameter with multiple lengths. Can be used as initial placement or replacement into an existing stoma tract. Surgical, radiological or endoscopic placement.

The MIC-KEY* Jejunal (J) Feeding Tube is indicated for patients requiring jejunal feeding only, but who want an inconspicuous external segment. MIC* G FEEDING TUBES AND KITS

Giving caregivers a choice, MIC* G Gastrostomy feeding tubes include two ENFit gastric access ports. One for continuous feed access and one for medication access. MIC* G Bolus gastrostomy feeding tubes include one ENFit gastric access port. MIC G tubes are available in units of 2 or individually as part of a convenient replacement kit. All MIC G tubes feature a recessed distal tip from Size 14 Fr and above. a 12 Fr is also available with a low volume balloon.

MIC* JEJUNOSTOMY TUBE

The MIC* Jejunostomy Feeding Tube is indicated for patients requiring jejunal feeding. It is surgically placed directly into the small bowel, using the Witzel Tunnel technique for secure placement and to help minimise leakage. Featuring a large 9 French internal diameter to help prevent clogging, specific features include:

Designed to prevent inadvertent removal or displacement of feeding tubes in adult patients, CORGRIP* Nasogastric/Nasointestinal Tube Retention System is indicated for use with enteral feeding tubes of 8 FR and greater and NG decompression, suction and drainage tubes up to 18 FR.

Use of the CORGRIP* system can increase a patient’s caloric intake and may help to avoid unnecessary escalation to percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy feeding or intravenous nutrition.
